Planning a Cruise
-
Advance Planning
Booking early is always the best way to get a
great price and your choice of available staterooms.
We recommend that you book your vacation even a year
in advance, if possible; the earlier you book, the
better the price and the availability
-
Season Or Time Of Year
Summer and holidays, including spring break, are
the most popular periods for cruising and tend to
cost a bit more than other times. If your schedule
is flexible, sailing during non-peak periods — such
as the fall — offers a great value. As always, the
farther in advance you book, the better the price
and the availability
-
Cruise Itinerary
Select an itinerary that fits your needs. Three-
and four-night cruises offer a wonderful way to sail
for a very reasonable budget — they're great weekend
getaways and ideal for first time cruisers who want
to get a feel for cruising. Longer seven-night
Caribbean and special cruise itineraries take you to
more ports, along with days at sea to enjoy all the
activities and entertainment aboard a Disney
Cruise Line® ship
-
Stateroom Type
Consider the stateroom type that best suits your
budget and interests. Each Disney stateroom is
designed with the family in mind, providing
substantially more space for relaxation than you'd
find on most other cruise ships. The different types
of staterooms include:
- Inside Staterooms — Our most affordable
staterooms offer plenty of space and sleep
three or four.
- Oceanview Staterooms — These impressive
staterooms provide views of the ocean from a
large picture window.
- Verandah Staterooms — These deluxe
staterooms feature private exterior
balconies.
- Deluxe Family Stateroom & Suites — Our
most luxurious staterooms offer multiple
rooms and unique amenities for from four to
seven Guests.
-
Travel Party
A Disney cruise vacation offers lots of fun for
large groups of families and friends. Determine the
best configuration of stateroom to accommodate your
travel party.
Most staterooms sleep three, four or five.
Larger families may request side by side or
connecting staterooms, depending upon stateroom
category and availability. Children's rates are
available for ages 3-12 with two adults staying
in the same stateroom; under age 3 rates are
also available.
