What's included
in the basic price of a Disney cruise?
Onboard, your vacation package
price includes almost everything — from your stateroom
to breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, along with
soft drinks served at meals and at the beverage station
on Deck 9, and snacks and ice cream throughout the ship.
All onboard activities and entertainment are included.
While you're sailing, there are only a few things that
will require an additional charge: spa or salon visits,
phone calls, photos, video games, Internet usage and all
alcoholic beverages.
Where do cruises
go and how often do they occur?
Many of our cruises go to the
Bahamas for three or four nights and the Eastern and
Western Caribbean for seven nights. There are also
"Special Cruises" that include 10-night Caribbean
cruises, seven-night cruises to the West Coast of the
United States, and 14-night cruises through the Panama
Canal. All cruises include days at sea onboard the
Disney Magic® or Disney Wonder®, along with
stops and excursions at exciting ports of call.
The Eastern Caribbean ports include St. Maarten, St.
Thomas/St. John and Castaway Cay. The Western Ports
include Key West, Florida; Grand Cayman in the British
West Indies; Cozumel, Mexico; and Castaway Cay. There is
also a 7-Night Land & Sea Vacation which combines three
or four nights on an unforgettable cruise to the Bahamas
with all the excitement of a Walt Disney World®
dream vacation.
The West Coast cruises stop along the Mexican Riviera at
Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlán and Cabo San Lucas. The
10-night Caribbean cruise stops at Key West, St. Maarten,
St. Lucia, Antigua, St. Thomas/St. John and Castaway
Cay. The Panama Canal cruise visits Curacao, Acapulco,
Cabo San Lucas and Castaway Cay.
Most Bahamian and Caribbean cruises depart weekly from
Port Canaveral, Florida. There are special embarkation
dates for our other cruises.
What happens on
days at sea?
When you spend a day at sea on a
Disney ship, you enjoy fun-filled activities for every
member of the family, fantastic Disney-style
entertainment, Character meet-and-greets, amazing themed
restaurants, swimming, dancing, spa and fitness
programs, onboard shopping and — of course — recreation
and relaxation under the sun!
Can you stay on
the ship when in port?
Yes, and there's plenty to do!
Pools are open, along with some restaurants — and it's a
great time to visit the Fitness Center and the Spa and
Salon. In fact, the ship is less crowded when it's at a
port, so you can enjoy some relaxing "quiet time."
How does the Land
& Sea Vacation work?
On the 3 Nights on Land & 4 Nights
at Sea, you enjoy Thursday through Saturday at the
Walt Disney World® Resort and then depart from Port
Canaveral on a Sunday and return on Thursday, with
visits to Nassau and Disney's Castaway Cay — plus one
magical day at sea.
On the 4 Nights on Land & 3 Nights at Sea, you enjoy
Sunday through Wednesday at the Walt Disney World®
Resort and then depart from Port Canaveral on a Thursday
and return on Sunday, with visits to Nassau and Disney's
Castaway Cay.
What is the port
of departure for the West Coast cruises?
The Port of Los Angeles is the West
Coast port for the Disney Cruise Line®. Set sail
from Southern California during the summer of 2005 as
the Disney Magic® drops anchor in three exotic
ports of call along the Mexican Riviera and enjoys three
days at sea. Ships depart on Saturdays and return the
following Saturday.
