DAY 1, Sunday
Depart the USA to Portugal. Your flight includes meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment for your journey

DAY 2, Monday
Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Balance of the day at leisure. This evening, enjoy an orientation meeting with your tour escort, followed by a welcome dinner at a local restaurant (D): LISBON

DAY 3, Tuesday
Attend morning Mass at Se (Lisbon Cathedral ), and afterwards, enjoy a tour of St. Anthony's hometown. On this tour you'll see such sights as the Belem Tower, as well as visit Jeronimos Monastery with the Tomb of Vasco de Gama,the famous Portugeese explorer. Continue for a leisurely walk through the cobbled alleys of Alfama, the famous seaman's quarter. From here, we travel to the charming town of Santarem for a short walk down narrow streets to visit Saint Stephen's Catholic Church, also known as the Church of the Holy Miracle. Enjoy time for prayer before the Eucharistic Miracle enshrined within, one of the holiest and most famous of its kind. Continue to Fatima this afternoon (B, D): FATIMA

DAY 4, Wednesday
Today, visit the Basilica of Our Lady, the Chapel of Apparitions, and the House of Francisco and Jacinta. Enjoy time at leisure for individual spiritual activities, visits, and sightseeing (B, D): FATIMA

DAY 5, Thursday
In the morning, depart Fatima and drive to Coimbra, Portugal's first capital city. Upon arrival, visit the convent where Sister Lucia, the longest surviving visionary of the 1917 Apparitions, lived until her recent death. Continue to the autonomous community of Salamanca, the University city which nurtured such students as Ignatius Loyola, the founder of the Jesuit order, Servantes, and St. John of the Cross (B, D): SALAMANCA

DAY 6, Friday
This morning's tour of Salamanca takes you into the heart of the city. Considered one of the most fascinating Renaissance cities in Europe, Salamanca is home to Spain's oldest Christian university, founded in 1218 by Alfonso IX of Leon. Here, you'll tour the new Cathedral and University, before continuing to the celebrated city of Burgos. Founded in the 9th century, Burgos was the seat of a Catholic bishop since the 10th century and later became the capital of the Kingdom of Castile. Situated in the Pilgrim's Road to Santiago de Compostela, Burgos still preserves its medieval splendor, as it is home to more ecclesiastical monuments than any other Spanish city. DAY 7, Saturday
After morning Mass, enjoy a tour of the 13th century Burgos Cathedral, undoubtedly the city's most prized historical landmark. Long standing as one of the most beautiful and largest Gothic basilicas in Europe, the cathedral is the only structure of its kind to be designated a stand-alone UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterwards, proceed to Pamplona, the most important pilgrimage stop on the Road to Santiago. Today, the city is also famous for the annual encierro, or "running of the bulls." After lunch at local restaurant, tour this delightful medieval town, before continuing to Lourdes for dinner and overnight (B, L, D): LOURDES

DAY 8, Sunday
This morning, attend the International Mass at the Grotto: the cave of the Apparitions of 1858. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure to explore the town of Lourdes on your own. After dinner, attend an evening Torchlight Procession (B, D): LOURDES

DAY 9, Monday
Today, visit the Basilica of St. Pius X, the world's largest underground church, and the Boly Mill where St. Bernadette was born in 1844. The tour continues to the "Cachot" (Jail) where St. Bernadette lived at the time of the Apparitions, and on to visit the Grotto of Massaibelle, where the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to St. Bernadette. After dinner, attend the Torchlight Procession, starting from the Grotto (B, D): LOURDES

DAY 10, Tuesday
Today, depart Lourdes and drive to Jaca, the ancient fortified city of the Kingdom of Aragón. Upon arrival, visit the 11th century cathedral, the first Romanesque construction of its kind to be erected on the peninsula. Continue to Huesca to visit the Shrine of Our Lady of Torreciudad, dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary. From here, we proceed to Zaragoza. Once there, enjoy an orientation tour of the city, including a visit to the one of the world's largest Marian Shrines, the Gothic style Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar. This impressive structure, built in the Baroque style, is dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, as she appeared in the flesh before the apostle St. James the Greater alongside the River Ebro (B, D): ZARAGOZA

DAY 11, Wednesday
Depart Zaragoza and enjoy a relaxing drive along the picturesque villages of the province to reach Montserrat. Upon arrival, you will visit the Monastery and listen to the famous Basilica choir boy performances of Gregorian chants and choral music (subject to scheduling). Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant nearby before continuing to Barcelona (B, L): BARCELONA

DAY 12, Thursday
This morning's city tour of Barcelona includes panoramic views of the Harbor area, Montjuic, Plaza de España, and Plaza de Catalunya. Afterwards, continue on a guided walk through the Gothic Quarter to visit the cathedral and to view Gaudi's Sagrada Familia, a beautiful, unfinished Roman Catholic basilica of impressive proportions. Spend the afternoon at leisure exploring the colorful markets of Las Ramblas (B): BARCELONA

DAY 13, Friday
Transfer to the airport for your return flight home (B).
